Standard Squier strats are easy to find. But to find a late 80’s MIK Bullet Squier is not so easy. This is for a good reason. People don’t want to sell them. I’m selling almost all of my guitars, as my interests have changed.

This would make an excellent gift.

I believe Fender moved their Far East production from Japan to Korea some time mid to late 80’s. They supplied a factory with stock items and tooling. This Squier Bullet is the result of that happy marriage. Well it was happy for a while as the Korean company started producing their own versions of the Fender Strat’s at a very high standard and then sold them under a different name. needless to say, Fender USA pulled that contract. The company was call Young Chang. I’ve had a few of their guitars and they were excellent. The good news is that they had been making Fenders for two years before this one was produced. Early teething problems had been ironed-out and this Bullet lives up to that great reputation.

This is a great value semi-vintage Squier Bullet strat. It plays well and will hold its value nicely. So, you can have all the fun of playing while being safe in the knowledge that your guitar is holding up in value. Better still, it’s nicely played-in. It has various scratches and dings (It is now over 30 years old) but they are minor and are shown in the pictures. The frets are good with some very minor indent wear to the first position. The electrics work and this one has been upgraded to bare-knuckle pups. It also has CTS pots and a Switchcraft jack.

It will be very carefully packed in a large carton with plenty of packaging. The strings will be slackened off to take any tension out in shipping. If you prefer to collect, I can take the cost of postage off and send you an invoice before you come and collect.
