Vintage 1990's AKG D880 dynamic cardioid microphone Satin Black w accessories SM58

 You are looking at a quality 1990's era AKG model D 880 model dynamic cardioid microphone with outstanding sound characteristics and easily on par with any dynamic cardioid microphone you could possibly think of including the newer mics.   This is basically the Austrian equivalent of the Shure SM58 mic. Set at Low Z with smooth warm tone that will sound very nice if you are singing or broadcasting as it was designed.

 Pic # 2 shows this very model with it's characteristics.   

  The AKG mics were almost always very high quality and known for their durability and superb sound. This mic comes with the mic clip shown as well as it's original mic carrying pouch and box. The D880 is a rugged all metal design that's easy to hold for prolonged periods of time. It takes a standard XLR cable though none is included. It has an original flat black paint scheme with the subtle green accent.                                                                                                                                                        

 As you can see there is virtually no wear on the painted finish of this mic. Just a few tiny scuffs and the painted emblem is worn but it's free of any dents or fractures and looks very good overall. The front screen is metal with zero indentations or tarnish and the original foam is still inside the globe and looks great. This mic sounds amazing.

 The mic has excellent uni-directional characteristics and is great at cancelling out any background noise. Again...a superb mic for any live performance and worth every penny.

 The mic comes with a mic clip that works very well for this mic and will screw onto any mic stand. The clip has plenty of tension and tilts accordingly.

 The blue vinyl carrying case is in excellent condition and the the zipper works perfectly. Great place to store your mic when not actually in use. The box does show wear but always a nice accessory to have and the two inner foam liners are still present.

        If you are looking for something a little different then this mic will not disappoint.
