“Miyazawa Flute” is one of Japan's leading flute manufacturers. This model is the “Type-2,” which was manufactured in the 1980s.

It is handmade from solid silver and features soldered tone holes.

This model dates from the period when Mr. Akiyama of Akiyama Flute was employed at Miyazawa Flute, and Mr. Akiyama's engraving can be seen on the back of the lip plate.

I believe this instrument represents the very origins of Miyazawa’s handmade flutes—a legacy that lives on in the current MX Type-2 model.

It produces sound without issue from the lowest to the highest notes.

The pads show some slight wrinkles and wear, but I do not believe they require immediate replacement. If you prefer a more precise adjustment, I recommend having it serviced at a professional workshop after purchase. The head cork also does not require immediate replacement.

I have performed a light polish, but please note that some areas still retain the natural tarnish characteristic of silver.

The keys have been lubricated with key oil, and all keys move smoothly.
