The DOD FX59 Thrash Master is a high-gain distortion pedal with an aggressive, edgy voice for heavy riffs and saturated lead playing. Its uncompromising character makes it a compelling choice for thrash metal and hard rock, delivering substantial distortion with a straightforward three-control layout.

Level adjusts the output volume, Distortion controls the amount of gain, and Presence shapes the high-frequency response. Together, these controls let you balance the distortion intensity, brightness and volume to suit your guitar and amplifier. The pedal operates from a 9V battery or a compatible power supply through its 3.5 mm power socket.

The FX59 has also been used by Scott Lucas (Local H) and Bootsy Collins (Funkadelic), demonstrating its appeal beyond its metal-focused name. This USA-made example carries serial number 305001.
