Analogue Addicts UK Vintage Dual Channel Stereo Transformer Colour Box

After a few requests to do our small desktop type units rack mount we have done a new version as a 19" 2u rack mount model
Full Transformer balanced XLR line input & output with ground lift switch

This sale is for a pair of Haufe input transformers from a studio mixer.  As a smaller core transformer they are perfect for driving into saturation, harmonics and some passive compression effects.  They are easy to push into saturation so give as much control as possible over input drive and output levels you have a multi way input attenuation control with up to -15db attenuation before the transformer then into an output attenuation control.  These controls allow for heavy saturation to lower level cleaner sounding signals.  To add the the functions you also get a 3 way toggle switch to turn on/off a diode clipper to really dirty things up.  Choice of LED or Silicon clipping depending on switch position

A 1:1 input transformer, 600 ohm.   Great sounding unit with plenty of character

Totally passive design so no power required.  Hard bypass switch fitted for each channel.  You could even run from one channel to the other for for colour and creation!
