Rustbox Floodline, handmade custom fuzz

FLD•1-2 is now available.

Floodline is a hand-built, high-gain fuzz designed for thick, aggressive distortion, heavy low-end and unstable textures when pushed hard.

Entirely designed and developed by me, from the original circuit to the finished pedal. Not a clone, not a replica — an original design.

At lower settings, Floodline can produce a tighter, more restrained sound. Turn things up and it gets thicker, rougher and increasingly unpredictable. At maximum Fuzz, the circuit can enter self-oscillation.

This is not a polished, low-gain overdrive. Floodline is intended for players who want a deliberately aggressive fuzz with a character of its own.

CONTROLS

LEVEL — Output volume.

MUD — Low-pass filter controlling the high-frequency content of the fuzz. Adjust it to move from a brighter, harsher sound to a darker, thicker tone.

FLOOD — Controls how hard the final boost stage is driven. Lower settings produce a shorter, more gated response; higher settings increase sustain and can push the circuit into more unstable territory.

FUZZ — Controls the gain of the fuzz stages. At maximum settings, self-oscillation may occur.

CONSTRUCTION

Floodline is hand-built by Rustbox.

The enclosure features a manually finished, etched and distressed surface. Each unit has its own marks and variations, so no two finishes will be exactly alike.

This is part of the construction process, not a printed imitation of wear.

PLEASE NOTE

FLD•1-1 has found a new home. FLD•1-2 is now available.

Floodline is a high-gain effect. Its response can change significantly with pickup output, playing dynamics and control settings.

Self-oscillation may occur at extreme Fuzz settings.
