Selling my Keeley Synth-1, complete with manual and original box, barely used. I am selling this pedal to fund the repair of my Laney VC50 amp, and to simplify my signal chain.
The Synth-1 is a creative analog circuit combining a monophonic synth with a dynamic filter. The synth part tracks the guitar signal and generates either a square, saw or sine waveform (black switch) matching the tracked frequency.
The filter part dynamically reshapes the direct and synth signals based on input level (Level), volume swell time (Attack), cutoff frequency (Filter), and direct/synth mix (Blend), while the Chaos switch selects either stable or glitchy tracking modes (Boss OC-2 type vs sign change detection).
Practically, the Synth-1 covers a broad sonic range, from smooth or groovy synth tones, to chaotic fuzz weirdness (see vidéo).
The pedal is in excellent condition, with no visible marks, scratches, or signs of wear (see pictures).
