I'm selling my trusty old companion I bought 1998 in New York City at Rudy's Music at 48th street. This pedal is the original Jeorge Tripps Mk 1 version as you can see in the pictures. Serial number is 263, so it's one of the really early versions. It’s a real player’s pedal that sounds great either as a booster or mild to heavy/fuzzy overdrive and it's build like a tank, so it still works like on the first day and never let me down on my tours and shows - obviously, it has some battle marks on the enclosure and one of my technicians had the idea to drill two holes near the switch (see pictures) to prevent it from getting loose - a painful cosmetic mistake I had corrected a few months later - that's why there are two black stubs near the switch. Besides that, the circuit is 100% original (see gut shots) and has the much sought after warm and organic sound of these early models. So this might not be a collector's item to put into the vitrine, but a player's pedal for those who want the great sound and don't need a pristine look. I know these pedals go for crazy prices these days so I priced mine more moderately. Feel free to ask any questions.
