I am offering a Gibson Les Paul Studio Modern Worn White from 2023, a built in Nashville, Tennessee (USA), singlecut model featuring a light mahogany body with Ultra Modern Weight Relief (3.79kg total weight), arched plain-top maple top, set mahogany neck with Slim Taper neck profile and Modern Contoured Heel, premium ebony fretboard (!) with trapezoidal acrylic inlays and 43mm Graph Tech nut, two powerful Gibson 490R and 498T humbucker pickups, sophisticated electronics with push/ pull coil tap for each humbucker individually and push/pull tone (phase & pure bypass), as well as Grover Rotomatic tuners with Keystone knobs in a brilliant Worn White Satin nitrocellulose finish in mint condition, including black Gibson soft case, manufacturer’s paperwork, and professional setup with 10-46 Ernie Ball strings.
As a “no-frills” model, the Gibson Les Paul Studio Modern delivers the authentic Les Paul sound and a contemporary playing feel, while doing away with unnecessary visual embellishments.
The mahogany body, featuring a maple top, offers a comfortable weight of 3.79kg thanks to the “Ultra Modern Weight-Relief” design, ensuring comfortable handling even after long sessions. The tone—typical of a Gibson Les Paul—is superbly transmitted through the glued, one-piece mahogany neck with a Modern Contoured Heel, delivering long-lasting sustain, and thanks to the slim Slim Taper neck profile, virtually any playing technique comes naturally. The deep black ebony fingerboard, featuring classic acrylic trapezoid inlays and a nut width of 43mm, is incredibly comfortable to play across all 22 frets, thanks in part to the lowered “Modern Contoured Heel” neck heel.
Plugged in, the Les Paul Studio—equipped with a Gibson 490R humbucker at the neck and a Gibson 498T humbucker at the bridge—delivers the right tones for nearly every musical genre, from blues to rock to metal. The 490R neck pickup—a subtly modernized AlNiCo II humbucker—delivers a tone in the finest PAF tradition, combining a lively response with a vocal midrange. As a hot AlNiCo V bridge pickup, the more powerful Gibson 498T humbucker coaxes punchy overdrive and distortion sounds with high punch from the guitar amplifier. Thanks to the coil-tap option via push/pull switches in the volume pots, transparent single-coil-like sounds are also part of its repertoire.
A sound sample of this model can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.
A lightweight aluminum Stopbar tailpiece guides the strings over the aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, which offers adjustment options for precise intonation and comfortable string action. On the coveted “Open Book” headstock, Grover Rotomatic tuners with Keystone knobs ensure precise and stable tuning of the electric guitar.
The combination of the Worn White Satin finish with black nickel hardware and black plastic accents, along with an ebony fingerboard, creates a striking, high-contrast look. In short, an incredible combination of sound, playability, and design—that’s the Gibson Paula for you!
