A wonderful sounding device in flawless condition. Biscrete design, transformer balanced with Haufe input and output transformers, 76 dB maximum gain (actually its 2 dB´s more), set by a volume switch with additional +6dB trim, and with a 3-step LoCut.

The mic pre has been thorougly revised. It is fully recapped, cleaned and measured. It has its original specifications.

The special feature of this sales is the custom made connector box. It is professionally designed and crafted by a Bavarian housing specialist, and is built as compact as possible. It is incorporating the 31pin connector to the mic pre, the Neutrik XLR connectors, the 5.5 mm DC socket, and a power switch.

If you are a bit confused about the branding: since the company TAB was initially little known outside Germany, and the world wide distribution was in the hands of Telefunken, some of the TAB designs were given the TELEFUNKEN label. Other small manufacturers like Neumann and AKG did it the same. Anyway, as well as with the legendary V76, the V376 was developed and manufactured not by Telefunken, but, from the start, by TAB Tonografie Apparatebau, Wuppertal, West Germany.

 Ein wunderbar klingendes Gerät in exzellentem Zustand. Volldiskreter Schaltungsaufbau, ausgestattet mit Haufe Eingangs- und Ausgangsübertragern, 76 dB maximaler Verstärkung in schaltbaren Schritten und einem +6 dB Trimm, und einem 3-stufigem Hochpass.

Das Gerät wurde vollständig überholt und gemessen. Alle Elkos wurden erneuert. Alle technischen Daten entsprechen denen des Auslieferungszustandes.

Das Besondere an diesem Angebot ist das maßgefertigte Anschlussgehäuse. Es wurde von einem bayerischen Spezialisten für Gehäusebau professionell entworfen und gefertigt, und so kompakt wie möglich konstruiert. Es beherbergt den 31-poligen Anschluss für den Mikrofonvorverstärker, die Neutrik-XLR-Buchsen, die 5,5-mm-DC-Buchse, sowie einen An- und Ausschalter.

Falls die Markenbezeichnung etwas verwirrend erscheint: da das Unternehmen TAB anfangs außerhalb Deutschlands kaum bekannt war und der weltweite Vertrieb über Telefunken lief, wurden einige der TAB-Geräte unter dem Namen Telefunken vertrieben. Andere kleine Hersteller wie Neumann und AKG verfuhren ebenso. Doch genau wie der legendäre V76 wurde auch der V376 nicht von Telefunken, sondern von Beginn an von TAB Tonografie Apparatebau Wuppertal, Westdeutschland, entwickelt und gefertigt.
