Der KS-SW100 ist ein kompakter aktiver Subwoofer, den Yamaha speziell als Bass-Erweiterung für kompatible Keyboard- und Arranger-Modelle entwickelt hat. Er ergänzt die eingebauten Lautsprecher des Instruments um genau den Frequenzbereich, der bei kompakten Keyboard-Soundsystemen naturgemäß nur begrenzt wiedergegeben werden kann.

Dadurch bleibt der Bass auch bei kräftigeren Pegeln sauber, definiert und musikalisch.
