The SC205 is a SilverCone two-way system with a 5" woofer. With an extended bass frequency response and an astounding output level, it will easily fill your room with exceptional sound.

The nearfield monitor also comes with the convenience of threaded screw inserts on the bottom and the back. That way, you can mount your SC205 on a regular microphone or speaker stand, or use the back plate for different wall mounting options.

Tech Talk

The SC205 uses our 5" SilverCone woofer for an extended bass response. This very stiff diaphragm is honeycomb structured and glass fibre coated. Like in other models, such as the smaller SC204, the SC205 is driven by a sophisticated low distortion copper cap magnet system that uses a 1" voice coil responsible for delivering a greater linear excursion. All in all, this produces a bigger dynamic range than you would naturally assume from a speaker of these proportions. The result is an unsurpassed audio transparency that, when coupled with our proprietary AMT tweeter and PWM amplifier, will surprise you with a very powerful and precise low end.

DSP

High-resolution DSP electronics are built into every EVE Audio speaker. A single knob, conveniently located in the front of the speaker, allows for precise adjustment of volume and various filters for a tailor-made application in your workplace.

Our DSP is supported by a high quality Burr-Brown A/D converter. This is directly coupled and provides unadulterated signals.

Bass Reflex Design

With the design of the bass reflex channels, we wanted to achieve an optimal result by avoiding flow noise in connection with a powerful and precise bass. For this reason, the bass reflex port was given a large cross-section and positioned on the back of the speaker.
