I'm selling a wonderful pair of Michael Joly MJE Oktavamod V250 microphones with case. They are very rare,especially in this condition. Top notch electronics and Joly's custom K47 capsules and updated grills.

New Single Layer Headbasket -
The MJE modified v250 starts with a new single-layer, angled headbasket. The stock, two-layer cylindrical headbasket is ridden with cloudy standing wave coloration. The new, replacement headbasket increases open area to reduce internal reflections and coloration. You’ll hear clearer, less “boxy” and more detailed sound with more accurate transient response – hallmarks of the classic AKG C12 – itself a single layer headbasket design.

"VintageVoiced" 6 micron diaphragm MJE-K47 Capsule Upgrade -

Classic sound is within reach. The "VintageVoiced" MJE-K47 capsule delivers the same response as an actual Neumann K47 capsule. You'll enjoy the classic mid-focused punch of the K47 design with its natural-sounding top. This "VintageVoiced" MJE-K47 capsule has greater sensitivity and output than the stock small diaphragm capsule installed in the v250 and that means you'll hear better-than-stock signal to performance.

Premium Electronics Upgrades -

The circuit used in the v250 is a close approximation of a classic Schoeps transformerless design. However, the manufacturer used inexpensive poor-sounding, under-sized capacitors to save on parts costs. Michael Joly Engineering attacks these compromises by substituting the field proven MJE Premium Electronics upgrade. These component and topology upgrades improve bass response and reduce mid-to-high frequency distortion while providing a smoother top end.

The V250 is a small-diaphragm FET condenser microphone, and, as such, is good for a wide variety of applications, from vocals to room applications, to acoustic instruments. The capsule is equipped with a 17mm diaphragm of 6-micron Mylar on a 20mm OD backplate and is held together with a brass tension ring.

The MXL V250 gives vocals the right mix of power and polish. This true pressure-gradient condenser microphone delivers big, bold vocals with a presence that breaks through the rest of the tracks.
