Up for grabs is a lightly handled / lightly used - generally very clean - especially for it's age (from the late 1990s - early 2000s) genuine Taylor Grand Concert (GC) Deluxe Brown Hardshell Case with black plush interiorlining. It has 5 big latches++++NOTE - On hand availbale for sale upon request (I plan to list it soon - in a day or so) I have the same era Taylor case (in almost the same condition) Brown Tolex Exterior / Padded Black Lining with 5 latches- the latches are same desigh (BUT SMLALLER). Also on that HS Case - the back latch is missing the hoop part. I personally rarely handled it. Whatever imperfections the this HS Csse has are from the previous owner(s).The main tolex ares of the EXTERIOR of the HS Case are very clean wth just a few minor mich ahs very light vert smal scuffs here & there (bt overall- nothignthat really standsout).The few areas of the EXTERIOR Stitching that Goes Around the Border of the LID have light - but visible - scuffs. Most areas of the handle are fine with very light surface wear and one or two very small / small visible nicks in /on the leather. But the hardware (especially the latches) have aged: The original color of the brass plated finsh had aged / darken. I feel that the aging the the hardwarehas looks "cool" ' relic's. But some people might want to try to polish the HW. Using baking soda might do the trick- but it wil be a tedious & time consuming project for you take on. And it's possible that doing this might not completely polish / remove the dullness / discoloration of the hardware. The latches & hinges function properly. Five big latches (NOT the small latches - which this era Brown Ext / Black Int also was made with.As I stated at teh start of the description:NOTE - On hand availbale for sale upon request (I plan to list it soon - in a day or so) I have the same era Taylor case (in almost the same condition) Brown Tolex Exterior / Padded Black Lining with 5 latches- the latches are same design (BUT SMLALLER). If it is not listed yet and you'd like to check it out - please message me and I can send you info & pics.------The brown tan leather tab for the accessories compartment is fine.The brass plated latches have aged / have become darker (has discoloration). IN personthe discoloration look darker than it appears inthe pictures. The latches also have a few very tiny, very light & light nicks and a few extremely short, extremely light & light surface scratches.The other brass plated hardware (hinges, ball feet, metal bumper piece on butt end of case, and the handle hardware) have less discoloration than the latches. They each have a few tiny nicks. The metal plate on the outside of the case that is to the left of the handle does not have the protective clear plastic covering over it. This metal plate is very clean.Even though this HS Case did not have guitar in it for a couple of years- it was was always humidified (NO humidification product included).In general -the INTERIOR of the case smells fine- light normal neutral guitar case smells. If you place you face near the inside of the case - you can knd of smell a slight small of guita rpolish *& strings (but nothign funky or very unpleasant). The plush material is mostly very clean. But if you look at it very close up / if you very closely examine it - you can see very light surface discoloration. In the pictures this discoloration is not visible and you migth be thinking that - "Hey - I dont see anything." So -I might just be being overly ovbervant (also I am stating this detail to cover myself). Anyway - since the plush lining material is black - the discoloration not very noticeable. If necessary - ou can easily & carefully go over the the plush material with a damp micro-fiber towel or a very soft rag / towel a few times and then blow dry the plush lining if you want to clean this very light surface discoloration.For the Accesories Compartment - on the under-side of the lid - there is a brown rectangle shape tolex piece that is glued on the plush material . The tolex piece acts as a hinge (and / or it reinforces the under side hinge area). The glue that adheres (attaches) is this tolex piece onto the under-side plush material had dried out a little. But it the lid & this tolex piece are still on fine. If you use (open & close to lid of) the accessories compartment alot - it's possible the this tolex piece might looses and need to be reglued. This HS Case has been stored in a closet - covered with a big clear bag. From a smoke-free / pet-free home environment.I took many pictures of the HS Case. Feel free to ask for more pictures.NOTE: There may be a few not too serious imperfections that I overlooked. There are some imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures (or that do not show up accurately in the pictures).
