Overview
The Ovation Preacher (model 1281) was a solid Mahogany-bodied electric guitar with two soft cutaways and two pickups. In addition to the normal Preacher, Ovation also produced a 12-string version (model 1283) and a slightly higher-end version as the Preacher Deluxe (model 1283) that featured a series/parallel pickup switch and mid-range controls.
