A 1965 Fender Mustang in Dakota Red has arrived!! This 1965 model features a neck date of 8NOV65B and a pot date of 304-6542. Itfs a beautiful guitar with its original Dakota Red finish. The pickups feature original gray bobbins, with dates of 11-1X-65 (front) and 11-14-65 (rear). * The date on the front pickup is faint and barely legible. The pot dates are 3046542~2, indicating they are original. The switch and other components are also original. The neck has been adjusted with a single shim. The nut and frets have been replaced, and playability is excellent. Of course, it comes with the original case from that era. The tremolo arm is also original. While there are some scratches and dents commensurate with its age, this is a beautiful instrument in excellent condition with a high degree of originality.
