1987 Gibson Les Paul Standard - Ebony - OHSC - Tim Shaw's? LH

I'm selling a rare 1987 Gibson Les Paul Standard, in black (Ebony), left-handed, with its original hardshell case.

The ohms are in the pictures - there' a lot of debate on these, and I'm no expert, so I let the pictures (and you) be the judge.

I would say it's 99% original - I don't think the knobs are the original ones and neither is the truss-rod cover.

The finish has the normal checking (is it possible to see it in some of the picture - body/headstock) and one tuner is a bit wobbly.

It has two dings (please see last two pictures) - one on the neck pick-up cover and one below the pickguard, but, otherwise, it' in very good condition for its age!

It has the original frets, pots (dated 87) and the original white binding as turned yellow (and so has the nut).

The frets may need to be crowned as they are already low and flat (in some areas) (or changed).

This was a player's guitar, but always very well looked after (no neck repairs, no nothing), straight neck and the truss-rod works as it should.

It will go with a new Gibson bridge as the old one is already a bit collapsed (something common in these models).

The original "chainsaw" case is in impeccable condition with all the hinges/latches working - not a single one is broken (something quite rare)!

It will be properly packed using bubble wrap, a cardboard box and other materials used for this purpose.
