The recognizable sound of a good Dreadnought! Eastman builds this E1D with all the right materials for the perfect sound.
Eastman Guitars are leaders in their class with excellent finishes, tone and quality. From the hand-selected woods, the carefully applied varnish and aging to the precise carving of the top, you will notice the craftsmanship in everything. At Eastman, every instrument gets the attention it deserves.
This instrument is the Dreadnought as many want and have it, a Sitka Spruce top on a Mahogany body. What distinguishes this guitar is the use of full-solid woods all over the guitar, not only the top and body, but also the bridge and fingerboard are really Ebben. This adds to the sound and will also make the guitar sound nicer the longer you have hair, the wood grows and still lives.
To finish it off the guitar also has a 'Classic' Gloss Nitrocellulose lacquer, this ensures that the wood can continue to 'breathe' and more sound comes out, this is a finish that normally does not occur on such guitars.
The Eastman E1D is the absolute top guitar that can knock many Dreadnought off, even in higher price ranges. It is perfect for beginners, or for guitarists looking to transition to the acoustic world.
