Classic Brent Averill Enterprises single-channel microphone preamplifier and direct box, housed in a professional 1U rack enclosure with the matching Brent Averill external power supply.

The unit has been fully tested and is working exactly as it should. The microphone input, DI input, phantom power and output level control all function perfectly.

Sound & Character

1272-based microphone preamps are renowned for their punchy low end, rich midrange and smooth, musical top end. They excel on vocals, drums, guitars, bass, piano and virtually any acoustic instrument, delivering the warm, authoritative sound associated with classic British recording consoles.

The front-panel DI input is equally well suited to bass, electric guitar and synthesizers, adding weight, depth and harmonic richness to direct recordings.

Condition

The unit has been fully tested and is in perfect working order.
