The EL 3782 features a hefty full-metal body with a uniquely angular form softened by rounded corners — a design language typical of late 60s Philips professional audio gear. It includes a side-threaded wall mount/boom-mount point, allowing versatile placement in fixed installations or on articulating arms. The microphone houses an internal LOW CUT FILTER , used to toggle between speech applications and more full range sound .
