The Gibson J-45, first released in 1942, is nicknamed the "Working Horse." Additionally, there's a repaired crack on the lower bout edge on the 1st string side of the back; however, in this case, the wood seems to have moved during the crack, causing the repaired area to protrude slightly beyond the binding, creating a gentle bulge. While there are numerous dents and scratches overall, including a ding on the headstock tip, paint chipping on the back of the neck, buckle marks, and paint cracks, the neck and playability are excellent.
