Extremely rare 7-string manouche guitar labeled by Pierre Beuscher Paris. Beuscher was a renowned Parisian atelier that sold a wide range of instruments. They did not build the guitars themselves but purchased guitars from renowned workshops and builders such as Gerome, Patenotte, Busato, Castelluccia, Di Mauro, and Favino, which were then fitted with the Beuscher label.
This particular manouche example was built by Louis Patenotte, a renowned French guitar builder. A unique feature is the fact that it is a 7-string guitar with a distinctive loop-end tailpiece and strings that are looped through the bridge. This makes the guitar extremely rare.
- All panels are solid wood, and the guitar sounds very good.
-new django/jazz sil&steel strings
- Black ebony fretboard
- Original vintage tuners
- Equipped with a good-sounding vintage soundhole pickup (made in Japan), including cable
Pickup is easy to remove.
-low action strings, so easy to play.
Overall condition is good considering its age, however, it has several signs of age, particularly on the back and sides (touch-up spots here and there).
But a very unique guitar that is rarely for sale.
A true collector's item.
