I'm currently clearing out my storage and parting with some spare parts. Among them is this Höfner 175/176 body. The body is very unique, and I'm not sure if it was even sold like this from the factory, perhaps by a subsidiary back then. The typical Höfner cutouts in the center for the pickups were made after the finish was applied. Höfner typically did this with older 175 bodies to then use them as 176s. The modification to the upper cutaway is very neatly done. Otherwise, the body is in good condition.
