Ovation / 2007 C868LX Custom Elite LX

This is a 2007 "C868LX" that embodies Ovation's design philosophy for pursuing live performance.

The unique body shape, designed for comfortable handling, fits naturally to the body, enhancing immersion in playing. Ovation's distinctive round back structure is designed to concentrate and project the sound from inside forward, producing a straighter and clearer sound than a regular guitar. In addition, the beautiful multi-soundhole not only has a unique appearance but also balances rich bass and clear treble. It produces a crisp sound when strummed and a well-defined sound when fingerpicked.

The neck has a 5-piece construction and adopts a slim, easy-to-grip shape. The cutaway design allows you to easily reach the high frets, so there is little difference when switching from an electric guitar, and you can comfortably perform technical playing.

The preamp features the user-friendly "OP-Pro." It has a "PRE-EQ (SHAPE)" switch that allows you to easily recall a sound that blends beautifully into a band ensemble with the touch of a button, making it easy to create a cohesive sound.

【Condition Information】

While the preamp itself functions without problems, there is a crackling noise when turning the volume knob. The noise does not occur if you do not touch it during playing, but it is not suitable for frequent volume adjustments during performances. We would appreciate your understanding before considering this.

This guitar has very high basic potential as an acoustic guitar, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sound that won't get lost in a band mix.

[Playing Condition]
-String height at 12th fret: 2.2mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side
-Saddle protrusion: Approximately 2.0mm to 3.0mm
-The tuner works fine, but noise occurs when turning the volume knob on the preamp section.
Other functions are good.
-There are no dead spots or buzzing, and the playing experience is good.
