2024 Fender MIJ Limited Hybrid II Stratocaster Sandblast Flagship Tokyo Exclusive Rare Near Mint

This is a limited model, the Made in Japan Limited Hybrid II Stratocaster® Sandblast, sold only through Fender Flagship Tokyo and the Fender official online store in 2024.

It appears to have sold out shortly after release, and I do not believe it has been reissued since, so the number of units seems to be quite limited. It also seems that a natural color version was available in the first half of 2024.

The sandblasted finish beautifully brings out the grain of the ash body. When you actually touch it, the surface has a slightly uneven texture. It looks very cool.

This guitar is in near-unused condition with almost no signs of use. I do not think this model will appear very often in the future, so if you missed it when it was released, or if you really like its unique look, please consider it while it is available.

Official Description

The Made in Japan Limited Hybrid II Stratocaster® Sandblast is a Fender Official Store limited model based on the Made in Japan Hybrid II series, which incorporates versatile modern specifications suitable for any player or musical genre while retaining a vintage look. This model uses a selected ash body and features a sandblasted finish.

The sandblasting process emphasizes the strong grain pattern characteristic of ash, giving the guitar a substantial and luxurious visual impression.

It is equipped with Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil pickups and a 2-point tremolo system with vintage-style saddles.

It also features vintage locking tuners, a satin-finished Modern “C” shape neck, a 9.5-inch-radius fingerboard, and medium jumbo frets that are wider and taller than those used on the standard Hybrid II series, providing even more comfortable playability.

Weight: Approx. 3.3 kg

The guitar is in excellent condition with almost no signs of use. There is no fret wear, and the protective film is still on the pickguard. Of course, as this is a used item, there may be some very minor marks if inspected closely.

Included: Fender hard case, tremolo arm, and original warranty card.

Please note: The inner pocket lid of the case has an issue where it can come off. One key is included.
