Framus 5-string long neck banjo, Texan series, ser no. 37758 73G, made in july 1973. This is a rare version of the Pete Seeger type long neck banjo with additional 3 frets. It is completely refurbished and in very good condition. A crack in the headstock area was perfectly repaired by luthier PENDENNIS (Schoenkirchen, Kiel), ref to fotos. Straight neck in plywood with natural finish, rosewood fretboard with 25 frets (plus zero fret), low fretwear, original tuners. Metal band tone ring, ornamented aluminum flanges and arm rest, original FRAMUS tailpiece for control of string tension. Light brown resonator mounted with 4 screws to the flanges, new REMO natural head (11 1/8 inch size, top coated), top tension ring with 18 nuts and aluminum hooks, set up in low E tuning with new strings (e-B-E-G#-B, gauge 10-24-16-12-10, ball end).
