In a purpose-built workshop in Maine, USA, Bourgeois Guitars produces approximately 400 meticulously crafted guitars annually in a historic mill dating back to the 1850s. Dana Bourgeois and his experienced team build instruments in various tonewood combinations for players worldwide who appreciate the feeling of owning a truly special and exquisite instrument. This custom-made Bourgeois JOM Custom from 2022 features a resonant European spruce top as well as back and sides of beautiful aged-tone curly maple, processed using animal protein clue. This aged-tone finish not only looks stunning but also guarantees superbly authentic vintage tones. The guitar's acoustics are perfectly complemented by a deep, dark ebony fingerboard with elegant abalone diamonds and arrows inlays and the proven Waverly tuners with snakewood knobs. Dana Bourgeis says of his guitars: "When we introduced our Aged-Tone guitar series a few years ago, the acoustic world quickly took notice of its advantages. The vintage sound and look (...) of our guitars with the patented Aged-Tone finish was unparalleled in the industry." And this Bourgeois guitar also displays enchanting vintage tones, delivering exceptionally warm mids, solid bass and great definition. It impresses with its excellent responsiveness and superb sustain! And thanks to its outstanding playability with a medium neck profile the future owner will surely spend a lot of time enjoying its timeless acoustic tone. We are pleased to offer you this exclusive acoustic guitar in top condition, showing only minimal signs of use.
