LA2A opto compressor/limiter based on HoneyBadger Audio PCB, with demo

I have LA3A and want to get rid of excessive gear.

This LA2A replica is a timeless classic in 3U rack:

• Lundahl LL1922 input transformer.
• Lundahl LL5402 output transformer.
• Kenetek T4B opto-attenuator.
• original Sifam VU meter (with LED backlight).

All fresh tubes installed, you will receive tube packages to keep track of the manufacturer, see photos.

New T4B photoelement installed (02-20-2025, Kenetek, USA), you will receive the certificate of this element with 3 years warranty, see photos.

All possible noise catchers are additionally shielded with copper foil. Operates silently.

The response potentiometer is not wired to the faceplate, and the hole is closed with a plug. The response trimmer is soldered to the PCB as a normal trimmer.

I will send the potentiometer to you as well (see photos) in case you want it to be on a faceplate (I do not know why I would want it there though, but it is possible).

The chassis has some scratches at the bottom after a few installations, nothing cosmetically serious.

I would like to not ship too far from the Netherlands, to countries like Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria, as this is expensive and the provided addresses are sometimes not reachable. This thing is heavy and needs a lot of packaging. Please consider this on order!
