1. Ditching the Step-Down Converter: If you imported a 100V (Japan) or 110-120V (US) model to a 230V region (Europe/UK/AUS), this upgrade allows you to plug your synth directly into the wall. No more bulky and heavy external step-down converters!
2. Eliminating Mechanical Hum: Original vintage transformers often suffer from annoying mechanical vibrations and acoustic hum. This modern toroidal transformer is practically dead silent, making your studio environment much quieter.
