This Rickenbacker 360W is a 2018 example finished in walnut and represents one of the most recognisable and influential semi-hollow electric guitar designs ever produced. The 360 series has long been a cornerstone of the Rickenbacker lineup, prized for its unique construction, unmistakable tone and close association with some of the most important guitar sounds in rock and pop history.
The walnut finish gives this guitar a rich, understated elegance, allowing the natural grain to take centre stage. This example has been tastefully upgraded with a gold Rickenbacker pickguard and matching gold headstock display, adding a subtle sense of luxury and stage presence. Importantly, the original white pickguard and headstock display are included in the case with the sale, offering complete flexibility for those who prefer the factory look.
Tonally, the 360W delivers everything the model is known for. The semi-hollow construction produces a clear, chiming top end with strong midrange focus and excellent note separation. Clean tones are open and articulate, while driven sounds retain clarity and definition, making it ideal for layered parts, rhythmic work and melodic lines that need to cut through a mix.
