Up for sale is the EarthQuaker Devices Afterneath V3. If you are looking for a standard "Spring" or "Hall" reverb, look elsewhere. The Afterneath is a modern classic designed for shoegaze, ambient, drone, and experimental textures.

It uses a cluster of short delays to create wash of sound that ranges from scattered rhythmic repeats to a massive, endless atmospheric wash.

Why the V3 Model? This Version 3 features significant upgrades over previous iterations:

• 9 Drag Modes: The "Drag" control now has 9 selectable modes, allowing the reverb to be quantized to different scales, run smooth (unquantized), or behave like a tape vari-speed.
• Expression/CV Jack: You can now control the "Drag" parameter via an expression pedal or modular synth voltage, opening up wild pitch-shifting and swelling possibilities.
• Flexi-Switch Technology: Use the footswitch for standard latching operation or hold it down for momentary bursts of reverb.

Controls:

• Length: Decay time of the reverb.
• Diffuse: Adjusts the spread of the reverb (from sharp rhythmic delays to a smooth wash).
• Dampen: Tone control for the wet signal.
• Drag: Separates the digital delay lines (this creates the cool time-stretching/pitch effects).
• Reflect & Mix: Controls the regeneration and wet/dry blend.
