We've had dozens of the iconic metal W-C MM35 and MM38 pass through the shop, but we've never seen this. This iteration must have been right before Webster-Chicago (later Webcor) moved to outsourcing mics from Electro-Voice. Nice integral handle! Pushing the switch in OPENS the connection between tip and sleeve of the smaller TS plug. Includes socket for the smaller plug, so you can use it to mute the mic if you desire.
It is equipped with a vintage standard 1/4" TS (phono headphone phone) plug and it is very robust.
Sounds fantastic, as expected.
