Here's a 1974 Rickenbacker 450/12 String in Mapleglo finish. The guitar originally belonged to the late Glenn Cornick of Jethro Tull! Glenn's name is stenciled on both side of the case. We purchased the guitar from a close friend of the family (no letters/provenance included). Minty clean all original example. No breaks/cracks. There's a tiny filled strap button hole, but beyond that, the guitar looks brand new! Serial NH5362, along with the original pots, date the guitar to August of 1974. The guitar plays and sounds fantastic! First off it's acoustically loud and resonant. You can feel and hear it right away upon first strum. The neck has a super easy and comfortable profile, and plays like butter. Action is low from top to bottom. Frets are clean as well. Both original Hi-Gain single coil pickups sounds how an incredible Rickenbacker should sound! Clean, jangly, with that classic chime. Cool guitar, with even cooler history. OHSC!
