For sale is an incredibly rare Gibson Custom Shop Made to Measure '58 Les Paul Junior DC in Silver Fox, finished with Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aging.
This instrument was specially commissioned by Thunder Road Guitars (Seattle) as part of a limited Made to Measure run – only 6 guitars worldwide were built in this exact spec and finish.
Crafted to full Historic specs with hide glue construction, True Historic plastics, Custom Shop Dog-Ear P90, and a chunky but very playable 50s neck profile (.91" at the 1st fret, 1.02" at the 12th).
Lightweight at 3.14 kg (6 lbs. 15 oz.), extremely resonant, and incredibly lively – it delivers that raw, punchy Junior tone with vintage character and modern reliability.
The Murphy Lab aging is subtle and tasteful, giving it that broken-in look without overdoing it. The guitar is in like-new condition – carefully kept and in great condition.
Includes the original Historic Lifton “Gator-Skin” case, all case candy, and paperwork.
No mods, no issues, 100% original.
