The Roland D-110 is a multi-timbral digital synthesizer module from 1988, part of Roland’s D-series of Linear Arithmetic (LA) synthesis instruments. It’s essentially the rackmount version of the Roland D-10 but with expanded features.

Sound & Usage:

The D-110 has a distinct late-80s digital sound, used in pop, electronic, and soundtrack music. While it can sound bright and complex, programming it via its small LCD and menu system is notoriously difficult. However, with external editors or software, sound design becomes much easier.

It remains a budget-friendly vintage synth module for those who love the classic Roland LA sound!
