We love Schecter Guitars - they cover so much ground across their range and offer fantastic value for money. This model in particular is perfect for tight, fast and accurate playing and leaves you wanting nothing more from a slick shred machine.
The aesthetic is beautiful - Satin Black with an arched top, a dark Ebony fingerboard but then highlighted with Ivory style binding. The inlays lend a touch of metal influence but without being garish or over-the-top. Flip it around and see a much lighter finish that reveals the Swamp Ash body and Neck-Thru construction. So cool.
In terms of features there is nothing holding you back. 24 X-Jumbo Stainless Steel frets with excellent access, locking tuners and compensated Ernie Ball nut for accurate pitch stability, carbon fibre in the (ultra-thin) neck for stability, glow in the dark side dots for stage navigation, a Hipshot hardtail string-thru body bridge for being able to switch to drop tunings without the other strings going out of tune, Fishman Fluence Modern pickups (ceramic and alnico magnets) with two voicings each, seven-strings to be able to handle loads of modern music that ventures into lower realms... the list goes on.
If you sometimes feel limited by what you can do on your current electric, this guitar lets you know that there are no limits other than the ones you put on yourself from not practising and trying hard enough!
