Höfner President guitar
Our users rate Reverb
Hofner President 1958 in very Good condition. Just returned from the luthier who checked everything and put brand new flatwounds on it and replaced just one potmeter. Everything is working and original, except the knobs, but the original ones come with it, one is missing the gold center.
There's also an original white pickguard with holder, see photo. It was not on the guitar because I'm a lefty and that made playing with it on, very difficult , but you can put it easily on it.
It's a rare model with an oval shaped control panel and not offen seen.
It's serial number is 4117 and is registrated (still) on my name bij Hofner fanclub.
It has...Carved solid spruce bodytop, and flamed maple back and sides. 8 fret markers and no trust rod. Rosewood fingerboard, Compensator tail piece.
No original case. If you would like to have it shipped we'll talk about it to arrange that.
