We inaugurated the modded versions of our classics with this beautiful Hellbender "Lead Mod". Dressed in an eye-catching hammered gray finish (and white led to complete the monochromatic look), this mod is designed for those who love the Hellbender tone, but need to cut through the mix more easily.

We attenuated the bass frequencies and the fuzzy low end in the pick attack, so you have a more open sound, more definition and clarity. Besides that, the alternative bias setting for the first transistor also reduces the odd harmonics (usually associated with transistors) and emphasizes even harmonics (more prominent in tube saturation), so you can also expect less of that "fizzy" quality, and a rounder overall tone.

The mods are subtle, but a great variation to our beloved orange monster!
