Ricardo Sanchis Nácher (his great-grandfather) founded the guitar house in 1915. He worked and learned from his childhood with some guitar makers of that time in Valencia, such as "Uncle Ximo", San Jordi, Salvador Ibañez, Telesforo Julve and some others. Later, after spending three years in Madrid doing his military service, he made friends with Casa Ramirez, Casa González…, for whom he did some work. But in particular, with Domingo Esteso, with whom he worked for three years in the afternoon, and maintained a great business and family relationship.

This relationship with Domingo Esteso and some builders from Madrid was continued by his son, Ricardo Sanchis Badía (grandfather), who was the one who began to spread guitars throughout the Spanish market.

In 1967 he moved his workshop from Masanasa to Valencia (first to Benicalap and then to

So, constantly developing his standards, he drew attention to his work and in 1970 he was officially nominated as a master guitar player. In 2005 (Ricardo is 68 years old) he gave way to his sons David and Germán to continue his business.
