I was genuinely surprised with
these. I found them in my attic in a random box and tried them. They
sound pretty damn good! A bit bass heavy but highs and mids still come
out well. I compared them with a few lower end offerings Sennheiser has
(hd 518 for example) and the Philips actually outperformed most of them! The hp250 also has a volume
adjustment on the cable which is pretty handy.
