This unit has had the filter Capacitors replaced with higher voltage and quality Caps. The gate effect circuit switch was added for use in recording. This Mod allows it to be used for recording without the effect abruptly turning on and off at loud or quiet passages. I have 8 units and really only need two now.  Really great units after the mod, useful on any instrument you record.
 Used it on a shaker with a dynamic mic yesterday and it just made it come alive.
