Fully functional, all original except for dials (replaced with knurled barrels like the original) Some dings and chips   but generally clean and fair.

We believe this to be a late 80's or early 90's release of the Hard Puncher precision bass. The humbucking pickup is encased in black metal and the headstock is not the classic shape but the original Tokai shape. This shape was prevalent in the mid 80's through the 90's and is still used at present. Having checked with the Tokai registry we could not find the exact model featured so it may have been a ltd edition in which case it is rare. Indeed this is the only one of this type that we have seen thus far. It sounds great, and plays well plus it looks pretty damned cool too with it's beautiful pearl pick guard contrasting with the CAR finish.
We noticed that the humbucker pick up featured seems to be on mid 80's basses and that the headstock is the APB shape so it could even be mid 80's, it is hard to tell.
