This is a very nice Commodore bass made in Japan during the late sixties or early seventies. The finish is a three colour sunburst with a white scratchplate. There are two chromed pickups with volume and tone controls plus a three-way pickup selector switch. The bridge/tailpiece is adjustable but as many, missing tis chrome cover. The neck is bolted on and the neckplate is stamped ''made in japan'' and the serial number 0144724. The neck is in a superb condition and contains 20 frets - shortscale (30 inches); and the headstock has the white truss rod cover, the four on a side covered tuners, but missing the plate which contains the ''Commodore'' logo. This is a very nice all original bass and a very nice playing bass too.
