LOOP-MASTER PEDALS DUAL AMP FX LOOP SWITCHER – EFFECTS LOOP A/B ROUTER
One effects chain. Two amplifiers. One footswitch.
The Loop-Master Pedals Dual Amp FX Loop Switcher allows you to share one effects chain between the effects loops of two different guitar amplifiers.
Instead of buying duplicate effects or constantly unplugging and reconnecting cables, simply connect your delay, reverb, modulation pedals, or complete effects chain to the router.
One footswitch selects which amplifier's effects loop is connected to your pedals.
Switch between Amp A and Amp B while keeping your effects chain connected and ready to use.
Completely passive audio switching with no buffers, digital processing, or MIDI programming.
WHAT IT DOES
• Routes one effects chain between two amplifier effects loops
• Select between Amp A and Amp B
• Switches both FX Send and FX Return connections together
• Works with individual effects or complete pedalboard effects chains
• Keeps your effects connected when changing amplifiers
• Can also be used for compatible stereo A/B signal routing
• Passive audio switching
• LED indicator
• No active audio circuitry
• Premium jacks
• Rugged aluminum enclosure
• Handcrafted in the USA by Loop-Master Pedals
HOW IT WORKS
Connect the effects loop Send and Return connections from both amplifiers to the switcher.
Connect your shared effects chain to the switcher's common Send and Return connections.
The footswitch determines which amplifier is connected to the effects chain.
AMP A SELECTED
Amp A FX Send → Shared Effects → Amp A FX Return
AMP B SELECTED
Amp B FX Send → Shared Effects → Amp B FX Return
Both sides of the effects loop are switched together.
The effects chain remains connected to the router, eliminating the need to move cables between amplifiers.
SHARE YOUR FAVORITE EFFECTS
This is especially useful for players who use multiple amplifiers but want to keep the same effects available with either one.
For example, connect:
• Delay
• Reverb
• Chorus
• Flanger
• Phaser
• Tremolo
• Multi-effects processor
• Complete effects pedalboard
Instead of duplicating those effects for each amplifier, the router lets you select which amplifier uses the shared chain.
GREAT FOR TWO-AMP RIGS
Ideal for players who alternate between two amplifiers during rehearsals, recording, or live performances.
Potential applications include:
• Two guitar amplifiers sharing one effects chain
• Two amplifier heads with separate effects loops
• Studio amplifier setups
• Guitar rigs with multiple amplifier options
• Shared delay and reverb pedalboards
• Custom effects routing systems
MORE THAN AN ORDINARY A/B BOX
A standard mono A/B box switches a single signal connection.
This router switches two corresponding connections together, allowing both the Send and Return sides of an amplifier effects loop to follow the same A/B selection.
That makes it especially useful for routing an entire effects loop connection rather than just switching between two amplifier inputs.
ADDITIONAL ROUTING APPLICATIONS
Although designed primarily for dual-amplifier effects loop routing, the switching arrangement can also be used for other compatible applications.
• Stereo A/B signal routing
• Two-channel signal switching
• A/B signal selection
• Reverse routing applications
• Custom pedalboard routing
The two signal paths remain separate and are switched together.
PASSIVE AUDIO PATH
The audio switching is completely passive.
• No buffers
• No digital processing
• No MIDI
• No programming
• No active signal processing
The switching operates mechanically, with power required only for the LED indicator.
DIMENSIONS
• 4.4" × 2.4" × 1.2"
• 11.2 × 6.1 × 3.0 cm
• 112 × 61 × 30 mm
POWER
Boss/Ibanez 2.1mm center-negative 9V DC for LED only; audio path fully passive (works without power).
Without power, the switching remains functional, but the LED will not illuminate.

IMPORTANT – AMP COMPATIBILITY
This is a passive effects loop router, not an amplifier load box, speaker selector, or amplifier head switcher.
It is intended for compatible line-level or instrument-level effects loop connections.
Do not connect amplifier speaker outputs to this unit.
The two amplifiers must have compatible effects loop connections, and their Send/Return levels should be appropriate for the connected effects.
This router does not provide transformer isolation, buffering, signal-level conversion, or ground-loop elimination.
It selects which amplifier is connected to the shared effects chain; it does not switch the amplifiers' speaker loads or automatically mute their main signal paths.
