The Super P is our interpretation of the classic P-style bass. We deconstructed the original design, kept what worked, and improved everything else.

The look and feel lean towards the traditional design we all know and love, but the tone and performance are everything you’d expect from a Dingwall. This 4-string example features an Alder body, 5-piece Maple neck and Maple fingerboard, finished in stunning Candy Black Cherry with a gloss top coat.

We downsized the scale by 2” from our standard scale range, resulting in excellent clarity on the B and E strings, with a big and warm quality to the D and G strings. The Dual-P neck pickup delivers the classic punch and authority you'd expect from a P-style bass, while the Dingwall Minimalist bridge adds to the instrument's clarity, sustain and overall stability.

Finished with a Matte Black pickguard and supplied with a Dingwall Deluxe gigbag, Ticbag and wrench kit, this Canadian-built Super P is a fantastic take on the classic P bass, combining familiar looks and feel with Dingwall's modern approach to bass design.
