1972 Mosrite Ventures Mark I - Black

Fast, flashy, and unmistakably cool, this Vintage 1972 Mosrite Mark I is a true icon of American guitar design. Instantly recognizable and endlessly influential, the Mark I delivers the sharp looks, lightning-fast playability, and biting tone that helped define surf, garage, and early hard rock—and it does so here with authentic vintage attitude.

Finished in classic black with a contrasting white pickguard, this Mosrite features the brand’s signature German-carve body, giving it a sleek, sculpted feel that’s both comfortable and visually striking. The slim, ultra-fast neck is legendary for a reason—built for speed and precision, it practically plays itself and feels unlike anything else from the era.

The dual Mosrite single-coil pickups are famously hot and aggressive, offering bright snap, muscular midrange, and a cutting edge that slices through any mix. From glassy surf lines to raw, snarling garage riffs, this guitar excels wherever clarity and attitude are required. The Mosrite vibrato tailpiece adds expressive shimmer while retaining excellent tuning stability.

Every detail—from the distinctive headstock to the unique hardware and control layout—screams vintage character. With decades of honest wear, this Mark I carries undeniable mojo and the kind of vibe only a real ’70s original can deliver.
