Offered for sale is a beyerdynamic M 420 N(C), a compact dynamic microphone manufactured in Germany. Originally designed for high-quality speech reinforcement systems, it quickly found favour in recording studios thanks to its hypercardioid polar pattern, fast transient response and compact design. It is particularly well suited to toms, percussion, guitar cabinets and spoken voice.
This microphone has been used exclusively in a professional smoke-free recording studio and remains in excellent cosmetic and technical condition.
Compact, Precise and Focused
The M 420 delivers excellent transient detail together with the focused pickup pattern expected from a true hypercardioid microphone. This makes it particularly effective wherever isolation and articulation are important.
