For sale is the Lanier DM-1525 which is a Japanese clone of the famous EV 635A and was likely made by the Primo mic company. This microphone is also an omnidirectional mic, features a similar shape, and sounds very similar. This specific model was rebranded for a few different companies including Audio-Technica so it was a nice quality mic that other companies could stand behind. Primo is not well known in the states, but they made some very nice microphones and were willing to produce very cool mics from a design aspect. This would be a nice alternative to the 635A and might provide a different tone that can work better for sources.
