These Unlathed DRY Hihats deliver a dark, organic and wonderfully complex tone that still delivers a quick and dry response. I marvel at how Istanbul captures the dry, complex and organic vibe perfect, and in 15s”!
At 1196 and 1438 grams, they play like Dark Medium Thin DRY 15s” with a whole new world of organic sounding.
Hand-hammered throughout, unlathed and raw, incredibly handcrafted.
This particular pair has a bit of deep and dark liveliness when opened - a percolating sibilance that lets you know these weren’t machine made! They’re unique and sound it.
Perfect condition. They’re the only pair I have. And one of the few pair of 15” TURKS I’ve ever seen.
