True version 1 DOD 250. The definitive version of this collectable pedal. Only this version features a cool Seimens IC chip, and several substantive changes to the circuit itself. More filtering up front, and less in the middle make for a much louder and more distorted pedal w/ very power tube like break up.
Distortion all the way down gives a true clean boost, leaving your dry signal virtually untouched.
Unlike later versions, this one will go the way into fuzz saturation, and with nearly twice the output. Truly the apex of this circuit.
I traced this otherwise unavailable iteration of the circuit, and built a sound-a-like. Might as well pass the OG on to someone cool
